Angelina Jolie's Movie "Wanted" Turned Box Office

Angelina Jolie action thriller “Wanted” has the best opening ever for an R-rated film released in June and the 6th opening of all time for any R-rated film, depending on the variety.

But Wanted did not open at No. 1. WALL-E, storytelling Pixar Animation on a robot, opened with $ 62.5 million in ticket sales, while the assassin Angelina Jolie thriller Wanted raked in $ 51.1 million, the Associated Press reported Sunday.

According to AP, WALL-E moviegoers of all ages.

"The real secret is that they are not films for children. They are films for everyone. The kids love very much, but parents take advantage of on another level," Mark Zoradi, president of Disney's film group told the AP.

Nikki Rocco, head of distribution for Universal, told the AP, "We knew WALL-E would be enormous, but this is not the same audience that Wanted."

The same New York Times criticizing the dissed Sex and the City film Angelina Jolie gave a fume.

"With its average smiley scoff and tight clothes, heels and hieroglyphics, it cuts the disciplinarian type figure that can bring antsy boys of all ages to its knees or at least in their theater seats," wrote Manohla Dargis.
