Angelina Jolie Gave Birth To A Boy And A Girl At 8:00 PM

Hollywood Star Angelina Jolie gave birth to healthy twins, a girl and a boy in the French Riviera maternity clinic, she checked, Nice-Matin newspaper reported Sunday quoting her gynecologist. The twins, Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline, were born shortly before 8:00 pm (1800 GMT) on Saturday, said the paper quoting Doctor Michel Sussmann gynecologist.

Angelina Jolie is fine after a Caesarean section, she added.

Knox Leon was reported to weigh 2.27 kilograms (five pounds) and Vivienne Marcheline 2.28 kilograms (5.02 pounds).

The babies first photograph was sold to a document of the USA for 11 million dollars (6.9 million euros), Nice-Matin said, adding that the money would be given to a humanitarian cause.

A source close to the clinic has already said the birth was expected in mid-August.

The twins were 33 years Angelina Jolie brood with partner Brad Pitt to six.

Pitt was seen entering clinical Nice Santa Maria, part of the hospital Lanval seaside Promenade des Anglais, July 2 with at least two of their children.

A spokesman Lanval could not immediately be reached Sunday morning to confirm the report.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, have been gossip fascination since they met on the set of their 2005 film "Mr. and Mrs. Smith."

Nicknamed "Brangelina", they have adopted three children: Maddox, six were born in Cambodia, Pax four years, born in Vietnam, and Zahara, three, born in Ethiopia.

They also had a biological child, Shiloh, born in Namibia in May 2006.

The couple, who often magazine top the list of world's most beautiful people or couples, introduced in May in a castle home they rented an American acquaintances of Provence in France.

Pitt was previously married to "Friends" star Jennifer Aniston, while Angelina Jolie has been married twice before.
