Brangelina Announced The Name Of Their New Babies

The twins are here Brangelina: Angelina Jolie gave birth to a girl and a boy.The obstetrician who delivered the twins, Dr. Michel Sussmann, told the Associated Press that the actress, babies Angelina Jolie and her partner, actor Brad Pitt, "are doing wonderfully well."

Dr. Sussmann said Angelina Jolie gave birth to a boy, Leon Knox, and a daughter, Vivienne Marcheline, by Caesarean section on Saturday night.

He told the AP on Sunday morning that the boy weighed 5.03 pounds and daughter 5 pounds. Brad Pitt was there during the operation, said the doctor who delivered twins at the seaside Lenval hospital in Nice in southern France.

"Everything is fine," said Dr. Sussmann. "Mothers, babies, the father are wonderfully well."

He said that the Cesarian has been moved forward from its originally scheduled date "for medical reasons" for those babies could be born "in the best conditions." Dr. Sussman did not give details.

He said Angelina Jolie is expected to remain in hospital for a few days longer.
